Vindication & An Important Win

The nonsense of January 6, a baseless felony conviction, and even assassination attempts  — Americans saw through it all. Not only did they see it, but they rejected it completely. In 2016, they tried to claim the election was a fluke and that people didn’t know what they were voting for. No one can say that this time. They know exactly what they’ll be getting with Donald Trump.

The left went all-in, putting abortion front and center as the defining issue. But the American people said no. We won’t sacrifice our children on the altar of paganism. Last night’s election is a victory for Christians who have been fighting for the last 4 years, refusing to bow down to the secular onslaught. This is what happens when the church is a voice against the greatest evil of our time.

A huge thank you to two groups. First, the beautiful minorities who help make up our nation. Hispanics and black men played a huge role in voting to protect their families from these twisted people. They voted to reject abortion, homosexuality and transgender insanity. Second, conservative influencers were a huge difference in this election. From X, TikTok, Youtube, Facebook – common sense is finally getting through. What a turnaround from the darkness of Covid & the Black Lives Matter riots of 2020.

Last night wasn’t perfect. New abortion measures were passed in several states. We still have work to do. We must hold Trump accountable when he acts contrary to God’s Word. We must continue to fight for the abolition of gay marriage and abortion. We must speak up for the most innocent in our society. Politics is not the answer to everything, but it is a good gauge of the direction of our nation. We must continue to fight for the good of those around us (1 Cor. 10:24).

A few predictions about the next few years – we will have to continue to fight against both Democrats AND Christless conservatives. Now that Trump has won and can’t run again, we will have more Trumps in politics at some point. Whether or not one of them takes up the mantle in 4 years remains to be seen. There are plenty of other great leaders to choose from. We’ll be praying for God-fearing men to continue to rise to the top. This is only the beginning.

The American people rejected all of the celebrities, all the wisdom of the wise, and went with what was right. Fighting evil and standing for the truth pays off. This election was a clear sign of God’s grace on our nation. He removes kings and sets up kings. Christ is the ultimate King.

It’s also important to note that Kamala Harris is the one who has to certify these votes in Congress in January. God has a sense of humor. Anyone up for getting some McDonald’s to celebrate?
